Welcome to my photo website. Here you'll find a small selection of the work that I get involved in with my cameras. My main areas of photographic interest are;- Photographic Journalism in sport and music, Journalistic portrait and events.I really enjoy the challenge of capturing a good photo when the conditions are not in favour, eg poor lighting, cluttered backgrounds,fidgety linesmen,referees and various other factors that just do not help. In my opinion it's better to capture a grainy high ASA shot than no shot at all, after all there's a lot that can be done to make a "noisy" shot, useable, add a bit of contrast , if needed , convert it to monochrome ,the resulting image will appeal to somebody....just don't try selling it to a stock agency.

2011 Mens and Womens Hockey European Cup.
The Dutch National Women'sTeam are the new Hockey European Champions.
The Dutch met Germany in the final and beat them with no real difficulty. The Bronze medal
went to England.

The Gloria Giants Düsseldorf.
The season in the German first division, unfortunately ended in relegation for the Giants. The team needed time to
be built up so that it could perform as a solid unit. Team building takes time and no coach, no matter how good,
can put a team together that functions as a team from day one. Hopefully Düsseldorf will recognise the teams true
potential and continue to support them. The team needed the time and have proved this by winning the last three home
games infront of Düsseldorf's most loyal fans.
At the start it was easy to see that there is a lot of talent, as far as individual players were concerned, but the team simply
needed the time. Murat Didin did a great job in the time given. This shot was taken at the last home game against BBC Bayreuth.
