Welcome to my photo website. Here you'll find a small selection of the work that I get involved in with my cameras. My main areas of photographic interest are;- Photographic Journalism in sport and music, Journalistic portrait and events.I really enjoy the challenge of capturing a good photo when the conditions are not in favour, eg poor lighting, cluttered backgrounds,fidgety linesmen,referees and various other factors that just do not help.    In my opinion it's better to capture a grainy high ASA shot than no shot at all, after all there's a lot that can be done to make a "noisy" shot, useable. Add a bit contrast , if needed , convert it to monochrome ,the resulting image will appeal to somebody....just don't try selling it to a stock agency.

Photo of the week.

Taken at the friendly between Schalke 04 and 1 FC Köln, this shot show's one of the typical

man on man dominance shown by Cologne which in the end lead to victory for the guests from

Ice Hockey 

 The DEG playing against arch enemy The Kölner Haie. In this match Düsseldorf won 6:1.

Golf  

Alexander Cejka, hits his approach shot on the practice round of the Mercedes Benz Championship in Pulheim

near Cologne , Germany.

Cejka was hitting good tee shots but the approach shots to the green were a bit  lacking.
